Is a contemporary figurative possible, a representation of the body that still makes sense in a world, never as today, founded on the production, manipulation, and diffusion of images, in which nudes of every genus and species proliferate, fatally destined for standardization? Can an artist be so crazy today to believe in the figure, to try their hand in the search for a figure that is not a mere representation of the already known?
